Clinical Priorities Advisory Group

Question for Department of Health

UIN 53125, tabled on 15 November 2016

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 7 November 2016 to Question 51260, where an error in a recommendation made by NHS England's Clinical Priorities Advisory Group is found following investigation by the Director of Specialised Commissioning, what process would be followed for reconsideration of that recommendation.

Where any error in forming a clinical policy has been identified, the proposal will be re-considered by revisiting all elements of the process that were impacted by the error. If, for example, a document was missing from the consultation pack of papers in error, the consultation would be re-run with the correct papers.
