To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate he made of the potential workload of the Construction Commissioner for High Speed 2 when setting an anticipated commitment of two days per week for that Commissioner.

The two days per week is for the initial period prior to construction – that is what it is estimated to be needed at that stage to prepare for the start of works. It will increase as needed during construction.

Named day
Named day questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.
