To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how much security guards in her Department are paid.

Security guard services for Defra are subcontracted under the facilities contract with Interserve FM. Rates for security guards vary dependent on location, market rates and shift patterns. The current spectrum is between £7.25 and £8.18 per hour.
