At the end of Quarter 1, payments of £163million have been made from the £1,033million Conflict Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) with the majority of spend not scheduled until Quarter 2 and 3. The National Security Council (NSC) agreed CSSF allocations at the start of the Financial Year, the details of which were made in the Written Ministerial Statement about the CSSF on 12 March 2015 by the then Minister for Government Policy in the Cabinet Office, my right hon. Friend the Member for West Dorset (Mr Letwin), which was repeated the same day in the House of Lords by Lord Wallace of Saltaire, (HLWS379).
