To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 20 July 2015 to Question 7273, when he was first advised that a decision on whether to pause major projects may have to be taken.

The Secretary of State was first advised to pause major projects in June 2015, to allow the programme to be reset pending the outcome of Sir Peter Hendy’s review.
