To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions on the timescale for the rollout of universal credit in Scotland; and if he will make a statement.

I meet regularly with the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to discuss a wide range of welfare related matters. Details of the rollout of universal credit is available on the UK Government website which can be found at:

Named day
Named day questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.
