We are providing extensive support to those business owners with a qualifying interest, who are affected by Phase 1 of HS2. This support includes Statutory Blight, Express Purchase, the Cash Offer and Voluntary Purchase Schemes (if businesses owners with a qualifying interest lie within the Rural Support Zone), and Home Owner Payments (if businesses owners with a qualifying interest lie within the Home Owner Payment zones). Businesses would also be eligible to claim under Section 10 of the Land Compensation Act 1965 in certain circumstances. The Department has also recently announced a Community and Business Fund worth £30million that will benefit businesses, amongst others.
