The Israeli investigation into the allegations of wrong-doings by Israeli Defence Force soldiers that led to Palestinian Minister Ziad Abu Ein's death is still pending.

A team comprised of Israeli, Palestinian and Jordanian forensic scientists investigated the death of Minister Abu Ein. They differed on the causes of his death, although they agreed that he died from a blockage of the coronary artery.
