To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the average time taken to respond by HS2 Ltd to property related compensation enquiries is; and what the longest time taken to respond to such an enquiry has been.

HS2 Ltd aims to respond to all enquiries as soon as possible and within a maximum of 20 working days.

Performance against this standard was 93% for April 2013 to March 2014.

A high proportion of these enquiries relate to property compensation but HS2 Ltd does not compile separate performance data for different enquiry types.

Named day
Named day questions only occur in the House of Commons. The MP tabling the question specifies the date on which they should receive an answer. MPs may not table more than five named day questions on a single day.
